Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and local authorities cut the ribbon to inaugurate and hand over the dormitory building to staff and teachers of Ky Son Secondary School.

Ky Son Secondary School is located in a remote upland area of ​​Ky Anh District. For many years, staff and teachers have had to live in a dilapidated, degraded, unsafe dormitory. Due to the lack of conditions, despite the long distance, some teachers still choose to commute back and forth every day.

Sharing the difficulties of union members in remote areas, the Provincial Federation of Labor has allocated nearly 1 billion VND from the Union Social Fund to support the repair of the dormitory. After 8 months of implementation, the project including a 2-storey building with 8 rooms and private toilets, a yard, a roof... has just been inaugurated and put into use.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong and her colleagues feel more secure with the new dormitory.

Unable to hide her joy at being in a new room in the dormitory, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Ky Son Secondary School) shared: “Most of the teachers are female and live far away, so this care and support is very meaningful to us.

Living in a new, spacious house with full essential amenities, we will feel more secure in our commitment to the school and students here."

The Provincial Federation of Labor allocated more than 630 million VND from the Trade Union Social Fund to support the construction and repair of 20 shelters for union members in the run-up to the congress.

In Hong Linh Town, the union members of Trung Luong Ward practically welcomed the 19th Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress by launching the model "Union members support administrative procedure settlement" at the ward's one-stop department.

With the motto "Publicity - transparency - accuracy - legality" and the criteria for implementing the one-stop model "Professional - friendly - close to the people", the model will help people and businesses save time and costs when carrying out administrative procedures, contributing to strengthening the propaganda work on online public services.

Many projects and tasks were implemented by Cam Xuyen District Trade Union.

Practically welcoming the Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term, the Cam Xuyen District Labor Federation launched grassroots trade unions to deploy the construction of more than 90 works, tasks, and products. Typical projects include: drainage culverts in Dong My village (Cam Thanh commune) with a cost of 254 million VND; garden landscape projects at Phan Dinh Giot Primary and Secondary School (Cam Quan commune) with a total cost of 450 million VND; a number of construction and repair projects for headquarters and multi-function houses at schools...

Mr. Pham Viet Cong - Chairman of the Labor Union of Cam Xuyen district said: "In addition to building more than 90 works, products, and tasks with a total value of nearly 7 billion VND, funded from the budget and socialized sources, the units also mobilized thousands of working days of union members to participate in building works and tasks, helping the locality complete the criteria for building new rural areas".

Ha Tinh Trade Union Volleyball Tournament 2023 was a great success.

Towards the congress, cultural and artistic activities and sports tournaments were also organized by trade unions at all levels, receiving positive responses from officials, union members and workers. The final round of the Ha Tinh Trade Union Volleyball Tournament 2023 recently attracted nearly 270 athletes from 20 teams across the province to compete.

In addition to being associated with labor and production emulation movements, the projects and tasks on this occasion also aim to take care of the rights and material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
