Apple has just officially released iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 updates for compatible iPhone/iPad models, about 2 months after the company released iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5 to bring bug fixes and security improvements to users.

It is known that iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 are just minor updates focusing on unspecified bug fixes and security improvements, without bringing any notable new features to users.

However, Apple still recommends that all users install these updates due to important bug fixes and security updates.

iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 are expected to be among the last major updates for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 before the iPhone maker releases iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in September, when the iPhone 16 series is also officially launched.
