Nguyen Thanh and Hong Le are invincible on the Run To Live track.

On March 9, the Run To Live - Run for Life 2025 race took place, co-organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, Miracle Entertainment Group and Ho Chi Minh City Urban Development Management Board. The race attracted 10,000 athletes, including famous runners such as Hoang Nguyen Thanh and Pham Thi Hong Le, competing in 3 distances: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km.

In the most exciting 21km, national marathon champion Hoang Nguyen Thanh performed exceptionally well, finishing alone after 1 hour 12 minutes 29 seconds. Ly Nhan Tin finished second with a time of 1 hour 14 minutes 08 and Huynh Anh Khoi finished third with a time of 1 hour 14 minutes 54 seconds. Hoang Nguyen Thanh's time was still lower than the national record (1 hour 06 minutes 39 seconds) so he could not win the special prize of 200 million VND for athletes with results exceeding the national record.

In the women's 21 km event, runner Pham Thi Hong Le from Binh Dinh was also unrivaled, leaving her competitors far behind, finishing first after 1 hour 21 minutes 34 seconds, while Le Thi Kha Ly came in second with a time of 1 hour 26 minutes and Nguyen Thi Thu Ha came in third with a time of 1 hour 27 minutes 44 seconds. Hong Le's time did not surpass the national record (1 hour 13 minutes 22 seconds).

In the men's 10 km race, Nguyen Anh Tri won with a time of 33 minutes and 52 seconds, while Doan Thi Hien won the women's 10 km race with a time of 41 minutes and 06 seconds. The men's 5 km race was won by Nguyen Van Khang (17 minutes and 13 seconds) and the women's 5 km race was won by Truong Hong Uyen (20 minutes and 04 seconds).
