A representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel said that the Vietnamese community there is safe after Iran's missile attack on Israel on the night of June 14 and early morning of June 15 local time.

In Bat Yam City near Tel Aviv - where many Vietnamese families live, the pressure from the rocket explosions caused material damage, causing most apartments to have broken glass doors and windows. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the community.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel continues to closely monitor the situation and maintain contact with Vietnamese citizens. The representative office affirms its readiness to deploy necessary support measures in case of emergency to ensure the safety and interests of Vietnamese citizens in the host country.

In case of emergency and need of assistance, citizens are requested to contact the Embassy hotline via the following phone numbers: +972-55-502-5616; +972-52-727-4248; +972-50-878-3373.

Meanwhile, people are urgently overcoming the damage, stabilizing their lives and maintaining regular contact with authorities as well as the local Vietnamese community.

During the night of June 14 and early morning of June 15, Iran continued to launch hundreds of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in retaliation for Israeli military airstrikes.

Fierce attacks over the past two days between the two countries have killed dozens of people and injured hundreds on both sides.

Leaders of many countries and international organizations continue to warn of serious consequences from the rapidly escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, and call on the parties involved to engage in dialogue to resolve disagreements.
