Ms. Tran Nguyen Hanh (living in Thu Duc City) said that because she doesn’t have a holiday until December 28, today she finally had time to go to the supermarket to shop with her family. She bought pork, chicken, sea fish, ham, bacon and ingredients for Tet hotpot.
“During Tet, my family wants to rest, so everyone chooses simple, convenient meals. I also want each meal to only take about 60 minutes to prepare,” said Ms. Hanh.
Like Ms. Hanh, many people in Ho Chi Minh City are also flocking to large supermarkets to shop for Tet. People mainly buy necessities, candies, jams, soft drinks, etc.
