Mentally ill man in Hanoi lost in Da Nang gets help from police to find relatives

Previously, at 4:30 p.m. on July 28, Que Son Trung Commune Police, Da Nang City received a report from the security and order team of Xuan Lu village about the discovery of a man with signs of mental illness, sitting on the side of DT611 road in the commune.

Immediately after receiving the information, Que Son Trung Commune Police sent forces to the above area to bring this person to headquarters for verification and support.

Through quick verification, this person was identified as NHH (38 years old, residing in Thuong Tin commune, Hanoi city).

Que Son Trung Commune Police contacted Mr. H's family and learned that he suffered from mental illness and had left home since July 24. His family had searched for him for many days but had no information.

While waiting for his family to come and take him home, the commune police arranged a temporary place to stay and provided him with good care.

On the morning of July 29, his relatives went to the Que Son Trung Commune Police Station to complete the procedures to receive him and take him home.

Mr. H's family expressed their gratitude for the sense of responsibility and humane gesture of the Que Son Trung Commune Police force, and sent a thank you letter expressing their deep respect to the unit.

In the letter, the family wrote: "The family thanks the Que Son Trung Commune Police for keeping Mr. H. and taking care of him until the family came to receive him for medical treatment."
