At the conference, delegates, cadres, party members and people listened to a summary report of the outstanding results of the socio-economic situation, national defense and security of the district since the beginning of the year. In particular, production was a good season; 7 investors surveyed and established projects, of which 4 projects were proposed for investment approval; total budget revenue by the end of October reached more than 100 billion VND.

Cultural and social fields continue to develop; people's lives are basically stable; political security is maintained, social order and safety are stable.

People of Xuan Lien commune proposed to have support policies to develop fisheries in the area.

At the forum, officials, party members and people attending the conference gave opinions and recommendations focusing on issues such as: resolving backlogs related to land management; having policies to support fisheries development; needing to convert 150 hectares of abandoned land in Xuan Hoi commune to aquaculture...

Local people proposed that superiors promptly resolve the issue of issuing and renewing land use right certificates for households for the first time; pay attention to handling acts of encroachment that cause traffic safety problems at markets on main roads; and provide financial support to villages in building new-style rural residential areas, especially building civilized urban areas.

Strengthening the protection of environmental resources in the area; reviewing market management in some localities; paying attention to compensation and site clearance for projects; considering and promptly resolving cases of land allocation beyond authority...
