* On the afternoon of January 4, the XV National Assembly deputies of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province met with voters of Thanh Chuong district after the 6th session of the XV National Assembly.

Directly receiving and exchanging voters' recommendations, after providing an overview of the socio-economic situation in 2023 of the whole country and Nghe An province, on behalf of the elected National Assembly deputies in the district, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Thai Thanh Quy respectfully thanked the responsible contributions of the political system, cadres, party members, and voters of Thanh Chuong district for sharing and accompanying the people of the whole province, contributing to the success of the province.

*On the morning of January 4, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial delegation congratulated the collective of cadres and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Party Internal Affairs Sector's traditional day (January 5, 1966 - January 5, 2024).

* On the morning of January 4, the Government held an online conference to give opinions on the plan to adjust land use targets in Decision 326/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to prioritize adjusting the allocation of a number of land use targets to implement national infrastructure development projects, key projects, and regional linkage projects with spillover effects.

* On the afternoon of January 4, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a press conference on socio-economic, national defense and security in 2023. Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province Bui Dinh Long hoped that the press agencies would continue to pay attention, share and accompany the People's Committee of the province to well perform the tasks of socio-economic development, security and national defense.

* Commemorating the 78th anniversary of the first General Election of the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2024), on the morning of January 4, the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council visited the Kim Lien Special National Historical Relic Site to respectfully offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

* Nghe An aims to export 680 million USD from electronic equipment and components in 2024. This is one of the contents in the Decision on assigning socio-economic plan targets for 2024 recently issued by the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

* More than 150 Nghe An students participated in the 2024 national excellent student exam. The 2024 national excellent student exam will be held on January 5 and 6.

* On January 4, the leader of Nghe An Department of Health said that after the 13-year-old child died at Anh Son District Medical Center, the Department of Health sent a document requesting the District Medical Center to report the incident; share and encourage the child's family. The health sector also established a professional council to conduct a forensic examination to find the cause of the child's death.
