* On the morning of December 12, the People's Committee of Nghe An province worked with the National Power Transmission Corporation on the investment preparation situation and proposed solutions to speed up the progress of converting forest use purposes and compensation for site clearance of 500kV transmission line projects through Nghe An province.

* On the afternoon of December 12, the Appraisal Council unanimously approved the Planning dossier for the North Central and Central Coast regions for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, and the draft appraisal report, subject to amendments, supplements, and acceptance of comments.

* Explaining at the meeting with voters on the morning of December 12, National Assembly delegate Vo Thi Minh Sinh informed that the National Assembly has given opinions on the draft Law on Social Insurance (amended) on reducing the age of receiving support for the elderly from 80 to 75 and increasing the monthly support level compared to current regulations.

* The Nghe An Labor Culture House Phase 1 project, invested by the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, started construction on the morning of December 12. The total investment of the project is 103.7 billion VND, of which the central budget is 39.1 billion VND; the budget of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee is 25.5 billion VND and the Trade Union Finance is 39.1 billion VND.
