Nghe An approves Zone B Planning Project

The Planning Project of Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park has just been approved with a research scope of 215.5 hectares, of which the planning area of Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park is 179.43 hectares; the land area outside the industrial park is 35.72 hectares.

At the 22nd Session of the 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council passed the draft Resolution approving the 1/2,000 scale Construction Zoning Plan for Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park, in Dien Phu and Dien Loc communes, Dien Chau district, in the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone.

Accordingly, the planning research scale includes 215.5 hectares, of which the planning area of Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park is 179.43 hectares; the land area outside the industrial park is 35.72 hectares.

Zone B – Tho Loc Industrial Park is identified as a multi-industry, clean, high-tech, high-value-added industrial park. Manufacturing electrical equipment, electronic products, computers, optical products. Manufacturing motorcycles, motorbikes, cars and other motor vehicles.

With the function of producing construction materials; Manufacturing and processing industry; Textile industry; Production of leather products; Production of chemicals and chemical products; Production of rubber products; Wood processing and production of wood products; Production of paper products, printing, copying of all kinds of records... Production of drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials; Food processing and manufacturing industry; Production of beverages; Light industries; Supporting industries; Production of costumes; Production of metal products. Rental of warehouses and ready-built factories; Warehouses, Logistics and activities supporting transportation; Other production and business sectors in accordance with current regulations...

The establishment of a 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan for Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park to specify the Project to adjust the overall construction planning of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone to 2040 has been approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 93/QD-TTg dated February 15, 2023.

Attracting secondary projects into Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park must have industries that are consistent with the Socio-Economic Development Plan and the Industrial Development Plan of the province, ensuring market access conditions for foreign investors; the technology chain is not on the list of technologies restricted from transfer and technologies prohibited from transfer to Vietnam.
