On August 18, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee worked with relevant units on preparations for organizing groundbreaking, inauguration and ground-breaking ceremonies for projects in the province to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
According to the report of the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province, on August 19, there were 8 projects started and inaugurated in the province.
Of the total 8 projects, 3 expressway projects have started construction, including: Component Project 1, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway (total investment of 19,965 billion VND); Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway expansion project (total investment of 14,945 billion VND); Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway project (investment capital of 8,407 billion VND).

Along with the highway projects, important infrastructure projects also started simultaneously on August 19, such as: the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project (with an investment capital of more than VND 3,900 billion); the Aircraft Maintenance Service Business Project No. 3 and 4 at Long Thanh Airport; the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ma Da Bridge; and the groundbreaking ceremony for the 2C lecture hall block (Ho Chi Minh City Open University) Long Binh Tan campus.
For the inauguration project, there is only one project, which is Component Project 1A, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, including Nhon Trach Bridge.
From now until the end of the year, Dong Nai province is coordinating with investors to speed up the progress of a series of infrastructure projects connecting to Long Thanh Airport to ensure synchronous exploitation with the airport in early 2026.
This locality is also coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City to prepare to invest in a series of bridges connecting the two localities including: Cat Lai bridge, Phu My 2 bridge, Dong Nai 2 bridge.
