Russia deploys military convoy on M-4 highway to Moscow; completes construction of world's most powerful liquid-fueled rocket engine

In another development related to Russia, on June 23, the Roscosmos space corporation announced that the country had completed the manufacture of the first liquid-fuel rocket engine RD-171MV for test flights of the Soyuz-5 rocket.

In a press release published on its website, Roscosmos noted that it also plans to complete the assembly of the RD-171MV for the second Soyuz-5 rocket and engine production for the third this year.

To date, Russia has successfully conducted more than 20 tests of the RD-171MV engine. Once it passes interdepartmental tests, the company will begin mass production.

According to Roscosmos, the thrust of the RD-171MV engine exceeds 800 tons, making it the world's most powerful liquid-fueled rocket engine.

The Soyuz-5 rocket, also known as the Irtysh, is being developed in Russia to launch autonomous spacecraft into various orbits near Earth. The rocket will be able to deliver up to 17 tons of cargo into space.
