The Provincial Youth Union and the Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Program "Children-centered Community Development in Lao Cai Province, 2019-2024" organized training on summer activity organization skills for grassroots youth union officials.

70 delegates are full-time district union officials, commune union secretaries, deputy commune union secretaries, village union branch secretaries; teachers and team leaders of Bao Thang, Bao Yen, Bat Xat, Muong Khuong, and Van Ban districts participating in the training.

During the 3 days (May 29-31), delegates were provided with knowledge and some basic skills: Organizing summer activities for students in the community; instructions on organizing traditional clubs for children; ways to prevent accidents and injuries...

The training course is organized to equip and consolidate the necessary knowledge and skills for union and team cadres to organize useful and meaningful summer activities, to attract students to participate at the grassroots level, create a healthy playground, and contribute to preventing injuries, especially for children in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas.
