Not only did he receive a global certificate in digital transformation education from Google at the age of 15, male student Duong Hoang Long, currently studying in grade 11 at the Gifted High School (Ho Chi Minh City National University), also has many impressive achievements in information technology.
In 2022, Long started paying attention to the Google Educator certificate because he saw the benefits it brought in his studies and work. "If I have the certificate, I will have many advantages in applying technology based on my proficiency in Google tools for future teaching and making it easier to absorb lessons at school," the male student said. To achieve this certificate, Long took a 3-hour test, with 55 comprehensive questions in English related to Google programs and tools. In September 2022, this young man achieved a level 2 certificate. In addition, Long also won a silver medal in the final round of the 4th Central Highlands - Central Informatics Olympiad and the Outstanding Youth Team award in the 2023 UCPC algorithm programming competition held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Information Technology.

According to Mr. Tran Bung, global lecturer of Google For Education in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, said: "Google Educator is a global standard, to achieve level 2 requires understanding of different training methods, teaching models and how to convey many competencies, such as: collaboration in digital environment, critical thinking, effective multi-platform communication... through lectures using Google's toolkit". Commenting on this male student, Mr. Tran Bung shared: "When introducing this certificate to Long, he set a goal and devoted all his efforts to completing it. When I asked Long to participate in teaching to share knowledge about Google with foreign teachers, he did very well without worrying that he was too young to do this". During the certification exam period, Long became interested in the program of making audiobooks for visually impaired children of the Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library, this young man and his classmates formed a group of volunteers to support. Although he has a lot of schoolwork to do, in his free time, Long spends about 2-3 hours a day processing audio files of more than 6 different books. "The library will record the file containing the book's reading voice or convert it through artificial intelligence software, then I will listen to it again and use tools to process the transmission quality before sending it to the visually impaired children," said this young man. According to Ms. Hong Thi Kim Vy, Deputy Head of the Visually Impaired Department, Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library, said: "At first, I didn't think Long would be interested in this job, because the technician who processes audiobooks requires meticulousness and high patience. However, Long has handled the job very well and has also participated in many activities to visit, serve and support bringing audiobook listening devices to homes, schools, and facilities for the visually impaired."
