Fire Flower Season

Follow photographer Dao Canh to see the cotton flowers on his journey to many provinces and cities, from Hanoi to Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh , Ninh Binh... In late spring, there is a light rain, the grass is green, many flowers bloom early in spring, the trees have young fruit, and occasionally there is a deep cold spell that people often call "cold lady Ban". In that somewhat gloomy weather, the cotton flowers bloomed like fire all over the sky and earth. Along with rivers, wharves, and communal houses, the kapok trees are often associated with the image of the Northern countryside. As simple as its name, the kapok flowers have a rustic beauty, remembered for their thick, curved petals with a warm red color. The cotton trees blooming brightly in a corner of the sky, along the dike or standing alone in the middle of the field have inspired many photographers to create.
