In 2024, Quang Ninh will face many difficulties and challenges, especially the serious damage caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi).

With initiative and creativity, through campaigns and emulation movements widely deployed, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have proactively gathered all walks of life to join hands in carrying out the socio-economic development tasks of the province.

Following the direction and orientation of the Central and the province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and a number of member organizations have directed the successful organization of the Congress in 2024. Emulation movements to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels were launched and widely deployed throughout the province, with a total of 375 projects, models, and tasks with the active participation of all classes of people, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere towards the Great Festival.

In 2024, the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Quang Ninh province was established and admitted as a member of the Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front, bringing the total number of member organizations of the Provincial Fatherland Front to 33.

In 2024, for the first time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to organize the National Great Unity Festival in residential areas with the theme "Great Unity Festival - Warm military-civilian affection" associated with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Festival.

Storm No. 3 (Yagi) made landfall in Quang Ninh province in September 2024, causing damage to the people of Quang Ninh province. The staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province really took action with the highest sense of responsibility. Through the bridge of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations, gifts and support funds were given to those affected by the storm with a value of over 32,935 billion VND. The provincial Fatherland Front received donations of money and goods worth over 189 billion VND. Of which, the provincial fund received 166 billion VND; the district fund received over 23 billion VND.

At the Conference, delegates representing the Fatherland Front of localities in the province and member organizations had many in-depth discussions, contributing significantly to the development of action programs for 2025. At the same time, the Conference also organized consultations to elect Mr. Dinh Ba Trinh to hold the position of Member of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, term XII, 2024-2029.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh acknowledged and commended the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the past year for upholding the spirit of responsibility, making efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges, and uniting to successfully carry out the tasks set out in 2024. At the same time, the Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee also requested the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations to well implement a number of important contents to strive to complete the goals and targets set out in Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee on directions and tasks in 2025.
