A student died in a lake in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park

(NLDO) - The victim was a 9th grade student who was invited by 3 classmates to go to a lake in Ho Chi Minh City Technology Park to play but unfortunately drowned and died.


On the evening of December 1, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) coordinated with relevant professional units to investigate the death of a 9th grade male student in a lake.

That same afternoon, four students went to a lake thousands of square meters wide on D15 Street, Tang Nhon Phu B Ward (in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park) to play.

At 4 p.m., K. (14 years old, 9th grade student at Hiep Phu Secondary School) suddenly drowned. His three friends panicked and ran to inform the adults.

Security guards at the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park rescued K. to shore, but he died.

Initial investigation determined that at noon, because of the school break, the friends came to K's room to invite him to hang out. After that, the above incident happened.
