The reason Mr. N was disciplined was because he accepted money to tutor students for retaking exams at an unreasonable price. At the same time, the school also asked Mr. N. to return all the money to the parents of the students.
Previously, Mr. NCN was accused by a teacher at the school of receiving money to influence an 11th grade student he was in charge of (school year 2022 - 2023) to move up a grade, with an amount of 7 million VND.
The school then transferred the file to the investigation agency requesting verification of Mr. N's violations.
Through studying the records, the Investigation Police Agency of Nam Can District Police found that at the end of the 2022-2023 school year, Mr. N arbitrarily organized extra classes for the above-mentioned student, with the consent of the student's parents.
There is no basis to determine that Mr. NCN took advantage of his assigned expertise and profession to coerce and extort money from parents to inflate the re-exam scores or improve the conduct of the above student, so there is no sign of a crime.
However, realizing that Mr. NCN's accepting money to tutor students to retake exams at an unreasonable price caused negative public opinion and affected the reputation of the school's teaching staff, individuals and colleagues, the school's Disciplinary Council decided to impose a disciplinary reprimand.
