On the morning of September 5, Hanoi College of Technology and Vocational Training (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year and awarded the first graduation certificates to students of the 21st course.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Le Tan Dung highly appreciated the achievements that Hanoi Technical and Vocational College has achieved during nearly 65 years of construction and development.

He emphasized that although the school has encountered many difficulties and challenges, it has made constant efforts to fulfill its role and function in training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the country's economy in the context of international integration and promoting industrialization and modernization.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung also expressed his pride in the achievements in teaching, learning and training that the school has achieved. He emphasized the role of the staff and teachers in innovating teaching methods and improving the quality of education.

"The tireless contributions of the school's staff and teachers are the key factor in helping students develop comprehensively in both knowledge and professional skills," said Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung.

One of the important messages that Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung wants to send to teachers and students of the school is to "light up the fire of intelligence, patriotism, sense of responsibility and aspiration to rise up".

Leaders of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs called on teachers to continuously inspire and motivate generations of students, helping them clearly realize their role in society and the country.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that only when each individual realizes their own values ​​and sets goals to strive for, can they overcome challenges and succeed in the future.

In addition, the Deputy Minister also proposed that the school continue to innovate management and teaching methods, and focus on vocational education reform in the spirit of guiding documents such as Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW and Directive No. 21-CT/TW. These improvements will contribute significantly to improving the quality of education and meeting the increasing demands of the labor market.

On the school side, Principal Le Hong Ngoc said that in the 2023-2024 school year, the school has trained more than 800 students at various levels, from elementary to practical bachelor's degrees. Some students of the 9+ system have passed the entrance exams to prestigious public universities, while many engineers and bachelors graduating from the school have found jobs and are gradually asserting their position in society.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Hanoi College of Technology and Vocational Education will welcome 885 new students. The school continues to invest in equipment and optimize resources to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

The school is committed to maintaining tuition fees 20-30% lower than regulations and not charging any fees other than tuition fees, in order to create favorable conditions for students and their families.

In addition, the school will continue to cooperate with businesses and organizations to call for scholarship funding and expand employment opportunities for students after graduation.

In the new school year, Hanoi Technical and Vocational College aims for 100% of students born in 2008 and 2009 to be eligible to move up to the next grade, of which 15-20% will be excellent. In particular, 30% of high school graduates will pass the university entrance exam, and at least 50% will continue their studies in college.
