Ako Dhong is the first community tourism village in Dak Lak province.

Buon Ma Thuot City has a natural area of ​​37,718 hectares, accounting for about 2.87% of the natural area of ​​Dak Lak province.

There are 40 ethnic groups living together in the city. Among the long-standing ethnic groups, the Ede people make up the majority, followed by the Tay, Thai, Hoa, Gia Rai, etc.

Besides the advantages of natural resources such as a vibrant network of lakes and ponds, rich agricultural products, etc., Buon Ma Thuot is also famous for its unique cultural festivals, imbued with the traditions of the Central Highlands people.

Ako Dhong is the first community tourism village in Dak Lak province. In addition to its typical cultural products and services, with 35 existing stilt houses and long houses, Ako Dhong village is considered by many tourists as a "living museum" of the cultural values ​​of the Ede people.

Besides, since the community tourism model in Ako Dhong village has been invested and developed, many households have also started to participate, both developing the economy and preserving the unique traditions of the Ede people in this Central Highlands region.

Ako Dhong is a village with long-standing Ede residents, with a total area of ​​62.3 hectares. The whole village has 500 households with 1,324 people, of which 64 households with 317 people are Ede.

The total number of long houses in the village is 35; there are 7 households doing traditional jobs such as: mainly brocade weaving, weaving, traditional wine brewing, rustic dishes, imbued with the traditional identity of the Ede people.
