The company's goal is to find ways to increase worker productivity by identifying areas for improvement for workers.

To analyze the work of human resources in manufacturing facilities, AI first needs to be trained to know standard work.

According to Mitsubishi, the company's system will use AI to analyze each worker's movements over several minutes by taking photos. Then compile them into a database to train other workers.

In manufacturing facilities, there are many jobs done by humans, such as installing screws. However, some problems arise such as uneven work efficiency due to different skill levels.

Therefore, the company believes that using behavioral AI to convert skilled workers' movements into data will bring improvements to other workers and will also be useful in passing on skills.

Mitsubishi Electric is testing the system at factories and aims to commercialize it from fiscal 2025.
