According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early on the morning of March 29, cold air affected most of the Northeast region of the North. In the Gulf of Tonkin, there were strong Northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7.

It is forecasted that today, this cold air mass will affect other places in the Northeast, North Central and most of the Northwest, then affect other places in the Northwest and some places in the Central Central.

The North and North Central regions are cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the North is generally between 14 - 17 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas below 12 degrees Celsius; the North Central region is generally between 16 - 19 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of cold air, today, the Northern and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

According to the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, today and tonight, this cold air mass will affect the province, then continuously strengthen. Due to the influence of cold air, Hai Duong area will have rain, scattered light rain, Northeast wind level 3, the weather will turn cold. The lowest temperature is commonly from 14 - 16 degrees Celsius.
