After a 2-2 draw away from home in the first leg, Inter Miami returned to Nashville for a rematch. On a day when Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both shined, the pink team booked their place in the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals.

In the 8th minute, Lionel Messi passed the ball to Luis Suarez to score the opening goal. In the 23rd minute, the Argentine superstar tore the Nashville net with a diagonal shot, helping Inter Miami double the gap.

Despite Lionel Messi leaving the field at the beginning of the second half, Inter Miami still found a goal to increase the score to 3-0. Luis Suarez passed the ball to Robert Taylor who headed the ball into the visitors' net.

With nothing to lose, Nashville was determined to attack. However, the visitors had to wait until the 90+3 minute to celebrate a goal, Sam Surridge finishing after an assist from Shaquell Moore.

Before that, Hany Mukhtar had a chance to put the ball into Inter Miami's net in the 90th minute, but Nashville's goal was disallowed due to offside when VAR intervened.

Inter Miami beat Nashville 3-1 in the second leg and advanced to the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals with a 5-3 aggregate score. Inter Miami will face the winner of the match between Monterrey and FC Cincinnati in the quarterfinals.
