Real Madrid players who were rated below Real Madrid's average were Kylian Mbappe (4/10), Raul Asencio (3/10), Antonio Rudiger (3/10), Jude Bellingham (4/10), and Vinicius Jr (3/10).

Goal.com described Mbappe's performance: "A match to forget against his former team. Hardly contributed anything in attack, even less in defence."

Meanwhile, Goal.com criticized Bellingham: "Almost invisible throughout the match - except for one or two decent dribbles. Being substituted after about 60 minutes was completely reasonable."

Among the 5 worst players on Real Madrid's side, the central defender duo Raul Asencio - Antonio Rudiger had a disastrous performance. Both made individual mistakes that directly led to Real Madrid's loss.

Goal.com rated the Brazilian star 3/10 with the comment: "Played very poorly on the right wing. Didn't know whether to go inside or stick to the side, his final passes were inaccurate, and he barely provided any support when he didn't have the ball."
