The attraction of the capital Hanoi on the occasion of National Day September 2 this year made Mr. Le Quoc Binh - director of a business in Ninh Binh decide to book a tour for the whole company to travel to Hanoi during the upcoming holidays.
Mr. Le Quoc Binh shared: "On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, I personally and the company feel extremely excited. We also really hope to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of that day and especially express the spirit of a Vietnamese citizen, always having a lot of love for the homeland and country".

According to travel agencies, the segment of tourists traveling to Hanoi on September 2 is also quite diverse. Most of the young customers will book separate services, including air tickets or hotel rooms to proactively schedule their own tours. After choosing the sightseeing routes, tourists will book additional services such as vehicles to travel to tourist destinations, or book additional tickets to visit scenic spots, cultural and historical relics or museums.
Meanwhile, customers who are families or veterans tend to book package tours, including airfare and tours in Hanoi during the September 2 holiday. After watching the main activities on September 2, this group of customers often spend time visiting tourist attractions in the inner city and the provinces surrounding Hanoi.

Mr. Bui Thanh Tu - representative of BestPrice Travel Company said: "According to our observations, airfares from the South or Central region to the North increased by about 30 - 40% compared to the same period on normal days on the occasion of September 2nd. The 80th anniversary of National Day is a big event associated with a long holiday, so customer demand has shifted. Instead of previous years, when more tourists traveled abroad, this year the number of tourists returning to Hanoi is very large, this is a very good opportunity for Hanoi's tourism industry".
Faced with the great demand of a large number of tourists coming to the capital, the Hanoi Department of Tourism affirmed that the city is fully capable of meeting the accommodation needs of tourists during this year's holiday. According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, up to this point, the number of guests booking rooms at hotels during the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 has increased by about 40-50% compared to the same period last year. Hotels from 3 stars and above around Hanoi's Old Quarter recorded room occupancy rates of 80-95%, many hotels in the city center were fully booked on peak days from August 30 to September 3.
This year’s National Day holiday on September 2nd not only continues to promote domestic tourism but also affirms the attraction of the capital Hanoi – Vietnam’s leading cultural and historical destination for domestic and international tourists. This is also a positive signal to open the peak tourist season at the end of the year.
