VietABank (VietABank - UPCoM: VAB) recently issued a document announcing a personnel change. Accordingly, the Board of Directors of VietABank has decided to dismiss Mr. Cu Anh Tuan from the position of Deputy General Director. This decision takes effect from March 20.

Mr. Cu Anh Tuan was born in 1972, graduated with a Master's degree in Finance - Accounting from Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Australia - Australian public auditing certificate since January 2005.

He has 23 years of experience working in the Vietnamese banking and finance industry. Mr. Tuan worked for 3 years at Techcombank, 4 years at the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) and many other corporate groups (Fujitsu Vietnam, Motorola...).

VietABank's decision to change personnel took place right before the bank's annual general meeting of shareholders. Accordingly, the bank will finalize the list of shareholders attending the general meeting on March 26.

An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank - UPCoM: ABB) has recently announced the decision to dismiss Deputy General Director Nguyen Manh Quan from March 20.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan was born in 1973 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry and has held key management positions such as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director, member of the Board of Supervisors... at VID Public Bank, CitiBank, HSBC, SeABank, HDBank.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan has been Deputy General Director of ABBANK since June 2015, participating in in-depth management, in charge of many different professional fields at ABBank such as credit appraisal and approval, legal compliance, risk management, debt settlement.

Mr. Quan has more than 27 years of experience in the banking industry. Before working at ABBank, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan held important positions at VID Public Bank, CitiBank, HSBC, SeABank, HDBank.

Notably, since the beginning of the year, ABBank has dismissed a total of four members of the Board of Directors. Previously, in January 2024, the bank also dismissed Mr. Do Lam Dien from the position of Deputy General Director. At the same time, two members of the bank's Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Phuc and Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang, also resigned from their positions since January 12.

Last February, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank - HoSE: SSB) also dismissed four Deputy General Directors: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Mr. Vo Long Nhi, Mr. Hoang Manh Phu, and Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.

At the same time, two new Deputy General Directors were added: Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang - Director of Capital and Financial Markets and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Director of Risk Management.

Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank (LPBank - HoSE: LPB) has also dismissed Ms. Vu Thu Hien from the position of Deputy General Director.

At the same time, the bank also appointed Ms. Vu Nam Huong to the position of Deputy General Director and Director of Corporate Clients. The term of office is 12 months from the effective date of March 20, 2024.

In the state-owned banking group, two banks, BIDV and Agribank, also had changes in senior personnel in the first months of 2024.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) has appointed Mr. Doan Ngoc Luu to the position of Deputy General Director of the bank.

Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV- HoSE: BID) also appointed a series of senior personnel at the extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders at the end of January 2024. BIDV's Board of Directors appointed Mr. Doan Viet Nam - Director of BIDV - Transaction Office Branch and Mr. Lai Tien Quan - Director of BIDV - Thanh Xuan Branch to concurrently hold the position of Deputy General Director from January 30, 2024 .
