Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has just announced tuition fees for the regular university training program for the 2025-2026 academic year.
For first, second and third year students, tuition fees for traditional medicine, medicine, dentistry and pharmacy are all 27.6 million VND/semester; for bachelor's degree programs it is 20.9 million VND/semester.

For fourth-year students majoring in medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, tuition remains at 27.6 million VND/semester, while for undergraduate majors it is 20.025 million VND/semester.
From the 5th year onwards, tuition fees for medical, dental and pharmaceutical majors are reduced to 17,525 million VND/semester.
For specific training programs and majors, tuition fees vary greatly. In particular, the Vietnamese-German medical major is 115 million VND/semester.
Students who are trained by address have a tuition of 42.35 million VND/semester for general medicine and 30.25 million VND/semester for bachelor's degrees.
Students studying under the selection system (Laos, Cambodia) have a tuition fee of 30,625 million VND/semester.
Tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy are divided into two groups.
For students admitted and enrolled from 2019 and earlier, tuition fees are 31.1 million VND/school year, applicable to general medicine, dentistry, preventive medicine, traditional medicine, and pharmacy.
Bachelor's degrees in nursing, medical technology, dental prosthetics, public health , and nutrition have tuition fees of 26.3 million VND/school year.
The second group is for students admitted and enrolled from 2020 onwards, tuition fees range from 30 to 84.7 million VND/school year.
The major with the highest tuition fee is dentistry with 84.7 million VND/school year, followed by medicine with 82.2 million VND. The major with the lowest tuition fee is the new major of social work.

At the University of Health Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) , the highest tuition fee for the 2025-2026 academic year is expected to be 70 million VND/year for medicine; 62.2 million VND/year for dentistry; 55.2 million VND/year for traditional medicine and pharmacy, and 41.8 million VND/year for nursing.
According to the tuition fee announcement of the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) for the 2025-2026 school year and the next 2 school years, the tuition fee is applied according to 3 programs.
The average tuition fee for the standard program in the 2025-2026 school year is expected to be 30 million VND, increasing by 1.5 million VND in the 2026-2027 school year and 3 million VND in the 2027-2028 school year.
With an advanced program, taught and learned in English, tuition fees for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years are about 80 million VND/year and will increase to 84 million VND in the 2027-2028 school year.
With the Japanese orientation program, tuition fees for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years are about 60 million VND/year and increase to 63 million VND in the 2027-2028 school year.
Tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) except for the international standard program will remain at 60 million VND/year, while other majors will continue to increase tuition fees compared to the previous year.
Specifically: Group 1 includes the majors of religious studies, philosophy, geography, history, information - library; archival studies; Spanish language, Italian language; Russian language with a tuition fee of 16,652,000 VND/year (in 2024 it is 14.3 million VND).
Group 2 includes sociology, linguistics, art studies, cultural studies, information management, Vietnam studies (for Vietnamese people), anthropology, office administration, social work, international studies, urban studies, education management, literature, educational psychology, education, Oriental studies, German language, French language with tuition fees of 24,255,000 VND/year (in 2024, these groups of majors will have tuition fees of 21,780,000 million VND).
Group 3 includes psychology, tourism and travel services management, multimedia communications, journalism, international relations, Japanese studies, English language, Chinese language, Korean studies, and Korean business and commerce with tuition fees of VND 29,843,000/year.
Vietnamese Studies (for foreigners) increases from 66 million VND/year in 2024 to 72.6 million VND/year.
The school also announced that tuition fees may be adjusted annually but not exceed 15% compared to the previous year.
Up to now, the industry with the highest tuition fee in the country belongs to pilot training at Vietnam Aviation Academy with a cost of up to 3 billion VND/course.

Pilot training is only for students who have passed the entrance exam and graduated from a regular university majoring in flight management and operations.
The above training cost of 3 billion VND is for 4 programs. Specifically, 3 domestic training programs include PPL training program (60 flight hours) in 4 months with tuition fee of 570 million VND, ATP theory training program in 6 months with tuition fee of 160 million VND, MCC, JET FAM training program in 1 month with tuition fee of 215 million VND.
An overseas study program is CPL & IR-ME flight training which lasts from 6 to 12 months, with tuition fees ranging from 60,000 USD to 80,000 USD (about more than 1.5 billion to more than 2 billion VND).
Tuition fees for other training majors in the 2025-2026 school year of this academy with the Vietnamese language program of flight operations management and aviation engineering: 18.5 million VND/semester (15 credits).
Major in aviation commercial service management: If students study for an aviation staff certificate in ground service, they will pay an additional 15 million VND/course; if students study for an aviation staff certificate in flight attendants, they will pay an additional 45 million VND/course.
For the remaining majors, tuition is 15.5 million VND/semester.
