Due to the impact of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) making landfall in the North of our country, in recent days, widespread floods have caused serious consequences for the northern mountainous provinces: Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Lang Son... the human and material losses are enormous. Hundreds of households are isolated, thousands of people are living in misery, surrounded by floodwaters, students cannot go to school.

Many northern mountainous provinces are in pain and danger. Emergency relief for victims affected by floods is urgently needed. Leaders of the Party, State, Government, central ministries and branches, and localities are working hard to direct, support, provide relief, and accompany people to overcome natural disasters. However, the damage is too great, and the cooperation and contribution of the community and society is needed.

With the spirit of mutual love and support, "A healthy leaf covers a torn leaf", "A piece of food when hungry is worth a package when full", the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Association of Journalists of Industry and Trade Newspaper, the Executive Board of the Trade Union, and the Youth Union officially launched the Program "Joining hands to support people in flood-affected areas" to collect donations and support students in highland areas to return to school soon, and help families affected by floods to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Practical contributions from officials and employees of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the business community and people supporting compatriots in the northern mountainous provinces will be delivered directly to the people by the Industry and Trade Newspaper's Social Work Delegation.

Previously, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh launched a campaign to support people in localities affected by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, to promote the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, "helping each other", "loving others as you love yourself", each press agency, Journalists Association, Inter-branch, Journalists Association and each member, depending on their ability, will connect social resources to support financially and provide necessities through the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels or directly support people in affected localities...
