Lam Dong starts and inaugurates 4 key projects to celebrate 80th National Day

Launching the Industrial Park Workers Housing Project

In Ham Kiem commune ( Lam Dong ), the launching ceremony of the Industrial Park (IP) Workers' Housing Project took place.

Attending the launching ceremony of the Ham Kiem II Industrial Park Workers' Housing Project were comrades: Dang Hong Sy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Representatives of departments, units, localities, together with leaders of Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company - the project investor, enterprises, workers, and laborers in the Industrial Parks, also attended.

The Ham Kiem II Industrial Park Workers Housing Project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the investment with an area of 31.2 hectares. The project includes dozens of apartment blocks with more than 5,550 houses for workers. It is expected to provide comfortable accommodation for more than 20,000 residents.

In addition, the project also has social infrastructure works such as: school system (kindergarten, primary school, secondary school), commercial area, polyclinic, cultural house, sports ground... Up to now, the investor has started construction of lot B2 including: 1 basement and 9 floors with a total construction floor area of ^21,390m2 , scale of 280 apartments.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai said that developing social housing is not only an economic task but also a social security policy with a humane nature. At the same time, it demonstrates the concern of the Party, State and local authorities for the lives of people, workers and low-income laborers. The Provincial People's Committee acknowledges and highly appreciates the efforts and determination of the investor to accompany Lam Dong province in realizing this goal.

In order for the project to be implemented on schedule, achieve quality, and soon be completed and put into service for workers and laborers in the Industrial Park, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to closely coordinate with the investor. Accordingly, quickly carry out related procedures, creating the most favorable conditions for investors during the construction and implementation of the Ham Kiem II Industrial Park Workers' Housing Project.

For investors, it is necessary to promote capacity and experience in investing in social housing projects, focusing on accelerating the progress of apartment blocks B1, B3 and B4 in the Ham Kiem II Industrial Park Workers' Housing Area. Thereby, implementing and completing the project, serving well the housing needs of related subjects in the Industrial Park in the coming time.

The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee believe that with the determination and efforts of the investor as well as the commitment of the province and support from departments, units, and local authorities, the Ham Kiem II Industrial Park Workers' Housing Area will soon come into operation, contributing to the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province.
