At the Conference, the representative of the Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union announced Decision No. 1538-QD/TWĐTN-CTĐ, dated August 12, 2025 of the Central Youth Union Secretariat on recognizing the Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union, term XIV, 2022 - 2027. Accordingly, the Central Youth Union Secretariat decided to recognize comrade Vu Thi Mai Dinh as Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union, term XIV, 2022 - 2027.

Presenting the Decision and congratulating Comrade Vu Thi Mai Dinh - New Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union, giving a speech assigning tasks, Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that Comrade Vu Thi Mai Dinh is a young, female, ethnic minority cadre, trained and fostered in basic expertise and political theory; trained in the strict environment, with iron discipline of the People's Public Security force and matured from the Youth Union movement activities at the grassroots level. During her work, she always strived to strive; set an example in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. As Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, she has promoted the sense of responsibility with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union to comprehensively and effectively lead and direct the implementation of the Youth Union work and the youth and children's movement; paid attention to improving the quality and effectiveness of volunteer programs and activities of the Youth Union organization.

Emphasizing that this is an honor and also a great responsibility for comrade Vu Mai Dinh, in response to the trust and expectations of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Central Youth Union Secretariat and the support and consensus of the Executive Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, in her new position, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested comrade Vu Thi Mai Dinh to always uphold the sense of responsibility, the exemplary vanguard character of a leading cadre at the head of the Youth Union organization and movement; continue to strive, study, practice, and contribute, with the spirit of a pioneering, volunteering, creative youth, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility; linking Youth Union activities with political tasks, socio-economic development, and maintaining security and order in the province; together with the Executive Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, continue to build the Youth Union organization and movement at all levels increasingly stronger.

He also requested the Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to promptly lead and direct the unified assignment of tasks to the comrades in the Standing Committee; at the same time, requested the Executive Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and unity, building a strong collective, constantly innovating the content and methods of leadership, arousing the desire to contribute of the youth, building an increasingly strong Youth Union organization, worthy of being a reliable reserve force of the Party.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vu Mai Dinh - Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union expressed his emotion and deep gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Central Youth Union Secretariat for trusting and entrusting him with the important responsibility of Provincial Youth Union Secretary. He affirmed that this is both an honor and a heavy responsibility entrusted to him by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Central Youth Union Secretariat, and the youth of the whole province.

The new Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union promises to always maintain political courage and moral qualities, uphold the sense of responsibility, and unite with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Youth Union to comprehensively lead and direct the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the province. Continue to innovate the content and methods of the Youth Union's activities, closely follow the political tasks of the province, the legitimate needs and aspirations of the Youth Union members and youth, and strongly promote the pioneering, creative and volunteering role of the youth. Pay attention to caring for, training and fostering the Youth Union cadres, building a strong Youth Union organization, truly a socialist school for the youth, a reliable reserve force of the Party. At the Conference, Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of leaders of agencies and units presented flowers to congratulate the new Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Vu Mai Dinh.
