Disciplinary reprimand for Director of Dak Lak Department of Health

On the evening of June 5, a source said that the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee had agreed to discipline Mr. Nay Phi La, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, and Director of the Dak Lak Department of Health, with a reprimand.

This disciplinary decision was announced by the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee at a meeting on the same day.

As Thanh Nien reported, previously, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee (ECC) held a meeting to carry out the process of proposing the competent party organization to consider and discipline Mr. Nay Phi La, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Department of Health for the 2020-2025 term.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Mr. Nay Phi La is responsible for the disciplinary action taken against the Party Committee of the Department of Health for the 2020-2025 term; responsible for being the head, allowing a number of violations, shortcomings, and defects in the implementation of bidding packages for the procurement of assets, medicines, chemicals, supplies, equipment, and means for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic of the health sector; and a number of cadres and party members who violated the law were disciplined.

Mr. Nay Phi La's shortcomings and violations caused consequences, creating negative public opinion among cadres, party members and people, reducing the reputation of the party organization and the provincial health sector.

In addition, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission also reviewed a number of violations and shortcomings in the work of Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Health and Mr. Ninh Tien Hoang, Head of the Planning and Finance Department of the Dak Lak Department of Health.

However, after reviewing the content, nature, level, and harmful effects of the violations, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission agreed not to implement the process of reviewing and disciplining Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh and Mr. Ninh Tien Hoang, and requested that these two people seriously review and learn from their mistakes, and not repeat their violations.
