The launching ceremony took place in both direct and online form at the State Audit headquarters (116 Nguyen Chanh, Cau Giay, Hanoi) and at the bridge points of the State Audit regions (except for the State Audit regions VI, VII, X). Chairman of the State Audit Trade Union Tran Kim Loc said that in recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 3, the northern provinces and cities suffered heavy damage. The storm and flood caused many deaths and missing people, many houses were flooded, collapsed, damaged, many hectares of rice and crops were flooded, buried, many hectares of aquatic products were damaged, many livestock and poultry died, were swept away, many roads and bridges were damaged, degraded, many places were isolated, many residential areas were isolated... With the spirit of joining hands with the people to overcome the consequences of the damage caused by storm No. 3, promoting the tradition of "mutual love and support," Ms. Tran Kim Loc shared that the launching ceremony aimed to call on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the State Audit to support the people to overcome the damage and consequences caused by storm No. 3. The minimum support level is one day's salary. According to initial preliminary statistics , the State Audit Trade Union has received 1.086 billion VND. On the afternoon of September 10, all of this money will be transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to promptly support people affected by storms and floods. In addition to direct support at the Launching Ceremony, the State Audit Trade Union will continue to receive support and contributions from groups and individuals until September 20, 2024.
