To carry out a peak period of attacking and suppressing all types of crimes, especially crimes involving the illegal buying, selling, transporting and storing of drugs in the area, Van Ban District Police directed the General Investigation Police Team to coordinate with professional teams and Commune Police to concentrate forces and means to conduct zoning, investigation and arrest of related subjects.

Using professional measures, on May 29, 2023, Nam Xay Commune Police, Van Ban District discovered and arrested Ban Phuc Chieu, born in 1977, residing in Nam Van Village, Nam Xay Commune, Van Ban District, for illegal possession of drugs. The evidence seized at the scene was 11 packages of drugs with a total weight of 1.01 grams of heroin.

Then, on May 31, 2023, in Nam Van village, Nam Xay commune, Van Ban district, the Investigation Team of Van Ban district police discovered and caught Trang Thi Lau, born in 2002, residing in Khanh Yen Ha commune, Van Ban district, illegally transporting 2 packages of drugs with a total weight of 41.86 grams of heroin.

The Investigation Police Agency, Van Ban District Police have issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused to continue to consolidate the case file, and handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
