Arousing national spirit within the framework of the National Golf Championship

On the morning of August 18, within the framework of sideline activities of the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025, a delegation of Tien Phong newspaper coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province to offer flowers and incense at Quang Trung Museum (Tay Son commune, Gia Lai province).

This is a meaningful activity to show gratitude to the national hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, while also arousing patriotism and national pride in a series of national sports events taking place in the province.

The incense offering ceremony is part of a series of social activities on the occasion of the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 in Gia Lai province.

Quang Trung Museum (Gia Lai) is one of the cultural sites with special historical value, preserving many valuable documents about the life and career of King Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue. This is a place where memorial activities and traditional education for the young generation in and outside the province often take place.

The Tay Son Tam Kiet Temple was originally the old house where the three brothers Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue, and Nguyen Lu were born. During the Nguyen Dynasty, the old house was renovated into Kien My communal house to secretly worship the heroes in red flags and cloth. Local people said that during those years, everyone who passed by the communal house respectfully took off their hats and bowed their heads.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the three Tay Son brothers: Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue, and Nguyen Lu.

According to journalist Phung Cong Suong, choosing to organize the National Golf Championship in localities rich in tradition such as the old Binh Dinh land, now Gia Lai, aims to promote the image, culture and history of these lands to a large number of tourists through a national-scale sporting event.
