(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of December 20, the People's Committee of Duong Kinh district held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hai Phong Road Construction Investment Project in Hoa Nghia ward, Duong Kinh district.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Dao Van Ninh, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Vu Binh Duong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Nguyen Minh Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; along with comrades leading the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and representatives of relevant agencies, units and localities.

The Hai Phong Road Construction Investment Project, Hoa Nghia Ward, Duong Kinh District is a Group B project, a level III traffic project, with a length of 915m, a roadbed width of 28m, a road surface width of 15m, a sidewalk width of 5mx2, and a median strip width of 3m. Soft pavement structure - hot asphalt concrete road surface. Complete construction of urban technical infrastructure works: rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, lighting system, road signs, sidewalks, trees. At the same time, the intersection with Road 353 will be expanded. The total investment of the project is over 146.8 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed in 2024.

This is one of the three important projects that the city has invested in implementing in the district from 2022 to present. After completion, Hai Phong and Dai Thang roads, the urban face of Hoa Nghia ward will change, meeting the convenient traffic needs of people in the district and neighboring areas; gradually meeting the criteria of a type 1 urban area according to Decision No. 2392 dated December 5, 2013 of the City People's Committee on approving the detailed planning at a scale of 1/2000 of Duong Kinh district to 2025, at the same time contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 3rd District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
