Thuy Trung Tien Temple, also known as Thuy Trung Tu or Cau Nhi, dates back to the reign of King Ly Thai To (11th century) and is located on a small island in the north of Truc Bach Lake, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. In recent years, Thuy Trung Tien Temple has always had hundreds of wild birds flying back to make nests.

The rich food source from Truc Bach Lake and West Lake has kept the birds here and they have also begun to get used to humans.

Dozens of bird nests are made on the tops of ancient banyan trees in the grounds of Thuy Trung Tien Temple.

In recent years, the number of wild birds has gradually increased due to the abundant food source from Truc Bach Lake, West Lake and the return of peace when hunting no longer occurs.
