As the first unit to participate in the "Discovering Green Buildings" activity, The Infiniti project of investor Keppel Vietnam, with Coteccons as the general contractor, is a typical example of exploring green buildings, not only designed according to green standards but also pioneered by the contractor in applying advanced technology to reduce carbon emissions right from the construction process.
Ensuring ESG criteria in all construction activities
As one of the Top 50 sustainable development enterprises, Coteccons pioneers in practicing sustainable development in construction activities at projects in all three criteria of environment, society and corporate governance (ESG). ESG initiatives are deployed to all workers at the construction site for proactive application throughout the entire value chain of the enterprise.
Especially at The Infiniti project, the 3R model (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) is applied in daily activities to help reduce emissions and save energy.
Typically, Coteccons has installed a solar power system to increase renewable energy; recycled and reused materials; used a water filtration system to ensure clean water, good for workers' health...

According to Mr. Vo Hoang Lam, General Director of Coteccons Business Unit 01, the application of 3R in the area of gathering and handling excess materials during construction has helped the project save more than 45 tons of scrap iron and 3,500m3 of wooden formwork.
In particular, by pioneering the use of CO2 mineralized concrete (CMC), the project will eliminate and reduce 1,241 tons of carbon emissions without affecting the properties of the concrete.
He also emphasized that in order to have green buildings, the support of investors like Keppel Vietnam is very important, along with the companionship of subcontractors to join hands in "greening" the construction process.
Green standards from design to construction and operation
According to the representative of Keppel Vietnam - the investor of The Infiniti project, in terms of design, this project applies harmonious biophilic design principles to bring nature into the living space of residents, while optimizing natural ventilation.
