* Ready to support professional development for Binh Phuoc General Hospital

On the morning of August 23, a working delegation from Thong Nhat General Hospital (Dong Nai) led by specialist doctor II Nguyen Tuong Quang, Deputy Director in charge of the hospital, visited and worked at Binh Phuoc General Hospital, Dong Nai province. At the meeting, the two sides shared a lot of information related to the operating model, implementing new techniques in treatment, as well as solutions to improve the quality of patient care. In particular, the delegation of Thong Nhat General Hospital expressed their willingness to support Binh Phuoc General Hospital in training and transferring advanced techniques, contributing to improving the professional capacity of the medical staff in the Northern Dong Nai region.

During the visit, the delegation visited some departments of Binh Phuoc General Hospital such as the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Department and Paraclinical Department; at the same time, consulted and exchanged expertise with the medical team and doctors here.

* More than 250 businesses in Dong Nai updated with new tax policies

On the morning of August 23, the Dong Nai Province Accounting Association coordinated with the Dong Nai Province Tax Department to organize a training conference on new policies on value added tax (VAT). Chairman of Dong Nai Province Accounting Association Ho Sy Lien said: Through the conference, Dong Nai Province Accounting Association helps businesses systematize regulations in the most understandable way; at the same time listen to difficulties and problems and support to answer questions of businesses; ensure practical benefits for businesses, ensure the common interests of the State.

In the first 6 months of 2025 (from January 1 to June 30), Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department has resolved the policy of reducing VAT rate from 10% to 8% according to the provisions of Decree 180/2024/ND-CP of the Government with about 302 billion VND.
