Opening of the 24th Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term XIV

BTO-This morning, December 1, the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee opened the 24th Conference (Term XIV) to discuss and give opinions on many important contents. The conference was chaired by comrades Duong Van An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan Province; Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Doan Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending the Conference were members of the Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, districts, cities, town Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: Under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the efforts of the entire political system and the solidarity and unity of all classes of people, Binh Thuan province has taken advantage of opportunities, overcome difficulties, and implemented the tasks of 2023 with quite comprehensive results in all fields. The socio-economy continues to develop, people's lives are improved. Party building, mass mobilization, and anti-corruption work have been focused on and achieved many results.

Patriotic emulation movements were launched and responded to everywhere. The strength of the great national unity bloc was consolidated and promoted. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that delegates focus on discussing and correctly assessing the achieved results, clearly analyzing the limitations, weaknesses, and factors hindering the current development of the province; thereby identifying appropriate solutions to unify awareness and action, and better implement them in the coming time.

At the conference, delegates will focus on discussing and assessing the socio-economic situation, national defense and security; State budget revenue and expenditure; Party building, mass mobilization; internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negativity in 2023, and key tasks in 2024.

Previously, the Provincial Party Committee had carried out the content of taking a vote of confidence from the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee according to Regulation No. 96 of the Politburo.
