On November 4, in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh), the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Vocational Education Teachers' Conference.

This is the Teaching Conference with the largest number of teachers participating in lectures and the largest number of delegations ever, with 462 teachers from 68 delegations (61 localities and 7 ministries, branches, and socio-political organizations).

The number of practical and integrated lectures is the highest ever with 416/462 lectures (accounting for more than 90% of the total number of lectures participating in the Conference). The number of industries and professions presented is the most diverse with 462 lectures belonging to 116 different industries and professions, including many industries and professions with large human resource needs, suitable for the requirements of current socio-economic development.

The lecture also featured many presentations on the application of information technology to exploit, design, and use digital learning materials to enhance interaction with learners. Thereby, demonstrating the efforts of teachers to innovate teaching methods, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in vocational education.

This shows that vocational education teachers are not only talented in pedagogy but also excellent in vocational skills, in line with the characteristics of vocational education which is to train human resources with professional qualifications and vocational skills to meet the requirements of the labor market...

In his opening speech, Mr. Le Tan Dung, Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, emphasized that the message of this year's Teaching Conference is "Vocational education teachers: Exemplary, creative, digital, integrated - The driving force for the development of open, flexible, modern, and inclusive vocational education".

"In order for the message of the Teaching Competition to spread strongly in the vocational education system and society, I request the Jury, the judges, to focus their intelligence, professional capacity and pedagogical skills, to accurately and objectively evaluate the presentations. The teachers participating in the competition need to demonstrate their ability, intelligence and courage through their presentations, strive for the highest results, and participate in the Teaching Competition with a serious, pure, healthy, impartial and noble spirit, for the image of the teacher. The Organizing Committee of the Teaching Competition must work impartially and to the best of their ability to complete the proposed plan...", Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung said.

The National Vocational Education Conference was held from November 4-10 at the Vietnam - Korea College in Quang Ninh and the Vietnam Coal - Minerals College, Hoanh Bo training branch (Hoanh Bo ward, Ha Long city).

This is not only an opportunity to honor and encourage vocational education teachers but also creates opportunities for exchange and encourages the sharing of experiences in teaching vocational education. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of the policy of "Fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training".
