Recently, information about the new iPhone has been continuously leaked, with all eyes on the highest-end model, the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Accordingly, Apple is said to increase the thickness of the iPhone 17 Pro Max to 8.725mm, 0.475mm thicker than the 8.25mm of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Source Ice Universe said that this thickness definitely means a larger battery. Apart from the change in thickness, the frame of the device remains the same as the previous generation.

If the above information is correct, this will be a notable upgrade.

Recently, in a social media post, Sonny Dickson - who specializes in revealing news about Apple's upcoming new products - shared an image that is said to be a render of the iPhone 17 Pro Max along with a MagSafe case designed to fit this model.

Accordingly, the rear camera module will be redesigned: instead of being located in the left corner as before, the new camera has a more spread-out layout, separating the flash, microphone and LiDAR sensor from the main three-lens cluster.

This horizontal bar camera design is expected to appear on the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the all-new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air model.

Analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Jeff Pu also revealed that all four iPhone 17 models will be equipped with a front camera with a resolution of 24MP.

In addition, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to have a Telephoto camera upgraded to 48MP, instead of 12MP like on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The device is also rumored to use 12GB of RAM, which should improve the performance of Apple Intelligence features and multitasking capabilities.

Another exclusive upgrade for the iPhone 17 Pro Max is that the Dynamic Island will be reduced thanks to hardware changes related to the Face ID system.

iPhone 17 is expected to launch in September with 4 versions: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
