iOS 18 is officially released

The iOS 18 update was released at 0:00 on September 17 (Vietnam time), compatible with iPhone SE 2, iPhone SE 3 and iPhone XR and later. Four models of the iPhone 16 series will have the software pre-installed when they reach customers.

The iOS 18 update is about 6.73 GB in size, so users need to prepare free space to be able to proceed with the operation. To update, users need to access Settings - General - Software Update - Update Now. If the update does not appear, users need to wait a few more hours for the update to be sent to the iPhone.

iOS 18 includes new Home screen customization features, upgraded Messages, a completely redesigned Photos app, and more.

- New screen customization: allows users to personalize the Screen on their iPhone. iOS 18 also allows for creating blank spaces and having full control over the placement of icons and widgets.

- Upgraded messaging app: users will experience new text effects for each specific word in the message. The app is integrated with the ability to schedule messages, satellite connection to send SMS and iMessages.

In addition, iOS 18 also has some hidden features such as: starting and turning off the device without hardware keys, sharing Wifi passwords via QR code, adjusting the beam width of the flashlight, hiding application labels on the home screen, changing applications to utilities right on the home screen.
