IGCSE is taught 100% by highly qualified foreign teachers
At each level, at the beginning of each school year, the school always has meetings, shares, and discusses with parents and students the best plan for the students' future.
If at primary and secondary school, students will aim to conquer Cambridge certificates and cultivate bilingual knowledge and skills, at high school, they will focus on in-depth learning content, based on their own strengths or future passions.
And the IGCSE and A Level programs - two international education programs according to Cambridge - are the "golden keys" that help students confidently enter prestigious universities around the world.
International standard route
During the workshop with Mr. Melvyn Lim - Director of Cambridge Southeast Asia, the school's board of directors expressed their views on applying the IGCSE and A Level education programs to high school students studying bilingually, specifically at Royal School.
Accordingly, the school develops the quality of foreign teachers, ensuring high professional qualifications and dedication. Along with that, the curriculum is invested in and innovated every year with many creative activities, developing students' abilities.
Mr. Melvyn Lim - Director of Cambridge Southeast Asia - spoke at the seminar at Royal School: "Recognized and highly appreciated by prestigious and top universities in the world in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, ..., IGCSE and A Level are important certificates that schools are most interested in when building a learning path for students.
Building an international standard roadmap will help students study smoothly and develop outstandingly. Especially preparing mentally for each school year, striving for specific goals.
Mr. Melvyn Lim - Director of Cambridge Southeast Asia - shares with parents about the IGCSE and A Level programs
At the sharing session, the representative of the school's board of directors, MSc. Le Cong Tam (Director of the Cambridge International Education Program) also shared with parents the strengths of having a scientific learning path - something that Royal School has done and strongly applied in recent years.
"In addition to the basic knowledge foundation, the school has made wise decisions in choosing subjects that are suitable to the strengths of Vietnamese students, commensurate with students in grades 9, 10 (IGCSE) and grades 11, 12 (A Level)".
Parents also expressed their peace of mind when accompanying the school, especially in the final stages of grade 11 and 12, when students need to make decisions for their future journey, having a clear direction from the school will be a great advantage.
During the past academic year, many Year 12 students achieved A Levels and studied at prestigious universities.
Study abroad journey direction
Royal School affirms the quality of training and teaching with the success of the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint exam (for grade 5 students) and the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint exam.
In the past school year, the school recorded many students achieving perfect scores in all three subjects, in addition, students also conquered a number of other certificates in the Cambridge program such as Cambridge A2 Flyers, B1 Preliminary.
Grade 12 high school students continuously receive prestigious scholarships from the world's leading universities, many of them achieving IELTS 7.5, 8.0. 100% of students taking the graduation exam are exempted from the foreign language exam because they possess an English certificate.
Royal School students regularly have meetings and share with teachers to better orient their future journey.
Always following students closely and giving useful advice to parents, Mr. Donovan Cedric Rogiers (Deputy Director of International Education Program) affirmed: "Royal School always puts students at the center, regularly updating creative and engaging teaching methods. The teaching staff also participates in training courses with prestigious units every year, to bring students the most useful lessons".
Royal School always builds a student-centered learning environment, building a clear and suitable learning path.
These "sweet fruits" are not only clear evidence of the school's training quality but also demonstrate the efforts of teachers and students. We believe that with a clear roadmap and quality teachers, students will surely hold the "golden ticket" to prestigious universities.
