Implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, the Standing Committee of Gia Vien District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the synchronous and drastic implementation of the goals, tasks and solutions to put the Resolution into practice and achieved positive results. The district's culture and society have clearly changed, notably the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" have been widely deployed, creating a rapid spread, and have been actively responded to by all levels, sectors and people.

Up to now, in the district, the rate of cultural families has increased from 72% in 2014 to 94.4% in 2023; 99.5% of residential areas have been recognized as cultural; 93.4% of agencies, units and enterprises have achieved cultural titles.

The work of preserving cultural heritage in the area has been given attention. The whole district has 279 historical and cultural relics, of which 57 have been recognized as national and provincial relics. The mass art movement has taken place extensively, rich in form and diverse in content.

Most villages and hamlets have clubs and art troupes associated with local social and union organizations, attracting a large number of people to participate. 100% of communes and towns have mass art troupes to serve the people during major national holidays and important local events.

The types of cultural arts and folk games continue to be restored and promoted, demonstrating the cultural beauty of the people and the land of Gia Vien. Traditional handicraft villages are maintained... Traditional festivals and cultural and artistic exchange activities with high artistic quality and diverse forms receive enthusiastic response and encouragement from the masses, typically the Nguyen Temple Festival, Hoa Lu Cave Festival, and the 1100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang...

The movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" continues to be promoted. Up to now, the number of people participating in regular physical training has reached 29.5%; 100% of schools in the area ensure the implementation of physical education...

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved in 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure). At the same time, they proposed tasks and solutions for implementation in the coming time.

* On the afternoon of April 25, Ninh Binh City Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, dated June 9, 2014 of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development".

In the 2014-2024 period, the Ninh Binh City Party Committee has led and directed the effective implementation of 5 goals, 6 tasks and 4 groups of solutions of Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW.

Specifically, the Ninh Binh City Party Committee promptly directed the issuance of action plans and programs to implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW to ensure suitability with the local situation; directed the City People's Committee to specify cultural goals in the annual socio-economic development program.

At the same time, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and strengthen the mobilization of resources for the cultural sector; do a good job of propaganda and raise awareness among Party committees at all levels, the political system and the people; improve the expertise and professionalism of the team of cultural cadres from the city to the grassroots.

Thereby contributing to building Ninh Binh city with a healthy and rich cultural environment and cultural life; people have the environment and conditions for comprehensive development.

Up to now, Ninh Binh city has 11 wards meeting urban civilized standards, 30 schools meeting national standards level II, 52 urban civilized roads; over 94% of streets and villages have cultural activity spots; 94% of cultural households, 86% of cultural streets and villages; 96.7% of agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards.

Historical and cultural relics in the area are given attention for restoration and embellishment; intangible culture is preserved and promoted. The city has strengthened international cultural integration, both absorbing the quintessence of human culture and promoting the unique culture of the province and the city to international friends, contributing to promoting tourism development.
