First meeting of the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development

On the afternoon of April 16, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held the first meeting of the Steering Committee for Science, Technology Development (S&T), Innovation and Digital Transformation (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee). Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

Also attending the conference were comrades: Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa and members of the Steering Committee, leaders of relevant Departments and branches.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the following contents: Draft Working Regulations of the Steering Committee; Notice of assignment of tasks to members of the Steering Committee; Draft Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on digital transformation in provincial party agencies; Decision to establish a Working Group to assist the Steering Committee; Draft Decision to establish the Provincial Advisory Council on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation; Draft Action Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on " Breakthrough in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation " in the province;

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha gave his opinion.

According to the draft Action Plan of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the goal of Dak Lak province is to promote applied research and transfer of scientific and technological advances; focus on supporting innovative start-up activities; actively and proactively approach and successfully apply the achievements of the fourth industrial revolution to production, business and life, promote the industrialization and modernization process, improve labor productivity, socio-economic efficiency and social life.

Implement synchronous and comprehensive digital transformation across the province; basically complete digital transformation in priority and breakthrough areas, contributing to promoting the rapid and sustainable development of the province's economy and society; be ready to test new technologies and models; fundamentally and comprehensively innovate the management and operation activities of agencies across the province; form and develop a safe and convenient digital environment to well serve the production and business needs of enterprises and the living needs of people in the province.

Comrade Dinh Khac Tuan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the province approved the draft contents.

The roadmap for the period 2025-20230 with a vision to 2045, promoting science, technology, innovation and digital transformation is the top priority and the main driving force for growth, contributing to building Dak Lak into a fairly developed province of the country, joining the country in entering a new era, the era of national growth.

The Provincial Party Committee requires the organization and implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW to be urgent, drastic, practical, effective, synchronous and unified. Grassroots Party committees specify the main goals, tasks and solutions stated in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in accordance with the characteristics of the situation and actual conditions of the locality; ensuring practicality and effectiveness. Clearly define the tasks and responsibilities of each Party committee, Party organization, agency, unit, especially the leader in the process of deployment and implementation. Promote the combined strength of the political system and the entire people, effectively implement the tasks and solutions set out. Regularly inspect and supervise; periodically summarize, summarize and report on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW according to regulations.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the following contents: inter-sectoral and inter-level coordination mechanisms; strengthening the participation of departments, branches and sectors; assigning specific responsibilities and roadmaps; clearly defining goals and targets for each period from 2025 to 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045; Building a provincial-level digital transformation and digital economy strategy...

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung emphasized that the relevant departments and branches continue to study and complete the Draft Action Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation" in the province; consider and review which tasks the locality can perform, then study and do them, and which tasks cannot be performed, then order them in order of priority so that they can be applied soon in practice; arrange qualified and capable cadres in science and technology to perform tasks with the highest efficiency; clearly define the goals and targets for each stage; must be urgent, drastic, practical, effective, synchronous and unified... at the same time review and complete the Draft Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on digital transformation in provincial party agencies to effectively implement to meet the needs of promoting digital transformation in current management.
