On the morning of June 2 at Saigon University, District 5 (HCMC), most candidates arrived at the exam site in a relaxed mood. Quynh Tram, a student at Vo Van Kiet High School (Vinh Long), said that because the time for the first round of the competency assessment exam and the semester exam at school were quite close together, it was difficult to review both, so Tram decided to only register for the second round. After studying the questions in the first round of the exam, Tram found that the exam content was quite suitable for her learning ability. "However, I study math, physics, and chemistry, so I did not review the history and geography sections very carefully," Tram shared. As for Luu Thanh Luc, a student at Tra On High School (Vinh Long), he also only took the second round of the exam. Luc said he planned to study medicine. Many universities currently do not have a method of considering competency assessment scores for medicine, so Luc initially did not take the first round of the exam.
But recently, Luc changed his mind and wanted to study mechatronics at the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University), so he took the second round of competency assessment to be considered for admission to the school.

I came to the exam with a completely comfortable mentality and considered it a test".
