On the morning of April 25, the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, held the 18th Thematic Session to review and resolve issues under its authority; including many important, urgent, and historic issues, with major changes in administrative units, organization, apparatus, and operations of the political system.

Attending and directing the session were comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Co-chairing the session were comrades: Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Phu Hung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Van Canh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech at the Session.

Speaking at the opening of the session, comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said: Strictly implementing the direction of the Central Committee; in the recent past, agencies, units, levels, and sectors in the province have been urgent, proactive, active, responsible, working regardless of day, night, or holidays; quickly completing the Projects, organizing to collect opinions from the People and related units and subjects to submit to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee according to regulations; submitting to the People's Councils at all levels according to regulations. The Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have organized many meetings and conferences to review, discuss, deliberate carefully, give opinions and decide according to their authority on the Projects, Reports related to the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels and mechanisms and policies to promote socio-economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the people. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council coordinated the Committees of the Provincial People's Council to conduct surveys and examine the contents submitted to the session; ensuring that the contents submitted to this session of the Provincial People's Council have sufficient political and legal basis, are consistent with the reality, will and aspirations of the majority of voters.

Director of the Department of Finance Vo Ngoc Tuyen presented the draft content at the meeting.

In addition, the 18th Thematic Session will also consider and approve a group of resolutions related to the budget, public investment and the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes for the additional area to implement Component Project 2 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Project Phase 1 - the section passing through Dak Lak province; a group of resolutions related to mechanisms and policies; and implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide under the direction of the Prime Minister.

Also at this session, the Provincial People's Council will dismiss the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021 - 2026.
