The movement of the Elderly in the period of 2021-2025 has been enthusiastically responded to by all levels of the Association, the elderly, and members with practical actions; the Association at all levels has been operating more and more effectively, attracting many elderly people to participate (an increase of 9.1% compared to the beginning of the term); Policies for the elderly have been fully and promptly implemented; the elderly are visited when they are sick and are helped when they encounter difficulties, of which: the number of elderly people with initial health records accounts for 95%, 97% of the elderly have health insurance cards, every year about 1,300 elderly people have eye exams; 15 elderly people are supported to build new houses with a cost of 2.1 billion VND and over 1,000 elderly people are given gifts on holidays, Tet, traditional days, etc.

The role and position of the elderly in society have been promoted. Currently, there are more than 15,500 elderly people participating in labor, production and business; on average, each year, 1,265 elderly people participate in grassroots mediation work, the movement of the People to protect national security, build and promote cultural identity, protect the environment, and build new rural and civilized urban areas. Thereby, contributing practically and effectively to emulation movements and local economic development.
