At the end of the first quarter, the total cultivated area for the 2024-2025 Winter-Spring crop reached 12,358 hectares, reaching 99.5% of the plan. The value of industrial and handicraft production reached more than 64 billion VND, reaching 25.21% of the plan. The total disbursement value of capital sources was more than 2.9 billion VND, reaching 2.6% of the plan. The total state budget revenue in the area was more than 9.5 billion VND, reaching 23.68% of the estimate assigned by the province.

The socio-cultural field received attention; policies and regimes for beneficiaries were promptly and fully implemented. Political security and social order and safety were maintained; military recruitment achieved 100% of the target assigned by the province. Party building and political system building achieved important results. In the first quarter, 18 new party members were admitted, reaching 18.7% of the Resolution. Campaigns and emulation movements were effectively implemented by the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the town.

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, as of March 31, the district has completed 328/354 houses, reaching 92.66%; of which 231 houses were newly built and 97 houses were renovated. The total number of completed houses is 186. The total number of completed and accepted houses is 42.

In addition to the achieved results, in the first quarter, there were still some limitations such as: The leadership and direction of environmental resource management were sometimes not resolute; illegal land exploitation still occurred in Ayun Ha commune; the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in some communes was still confusing; some Party Committees did not ensure the plan in their inspection work...

The 20th Phu Thien District Party Executive Committee Conference (expanded) took time for delegates to analyze the shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of tasks in the first quarter as well as to set out key tasks in the second quarter. In particular, continuing to lead and direct the synchronous implementation of measures to promote socio-economic development; focusing on leading, directing and effectively implementing the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, striving to complete before April 30; increasing budget collection in the area; strengthening land management; continuing to improve the quality of education, health care and culture; effectively implementing administrative reform, fighting against corruption and waste, etc.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of Phu Thien District Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 grassroots Party organizations under the District Party Committee that achieved the standard of "Excellent completion of tasks" in 2024 and 5 individuals who achieved the standard of "Excellent completion of tasks" for 5 consecutive years (from 2020 to 2024).
