In the first quarter, the socio-economic situation in the province remained stable, GRDP was estimated at 6,303 billion VND, up 8.5% over the same period; budget revenue was estimated at 1,880 billion VND, up 43.2% over the same period; new jobs were created for 5,443 workers, up 17.9% over the same period. The fields of trade, tourism, energy, and industry grew quite well; the agricultural and rural economy maintained stable growth, and the application of high-tech agriculture in production continued to be promoted. Investment promotion and attraction were promoted; key and driving projects were focused on to accelerate progress; and the work of removing difficulties for businesses was strengthened. In the first quarter, 116 newly established enterprises with a total capital of 512.7 billion VND, an increase of 18.4% in the number of enterprises and a decrease of 34.9% in registered capital over the same period; The number of enterprises ceasing operations increased by 5.8%; the Provincial People's Committee has issued investment policy decisions and adjusted investment policies for 23 projects with a total registered capital of more than 241.7 billion VND.

At the conference, businesses and investors discussed the situation of production and business activities; at the same time, they recommended that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies pay attention to the fields of land, compensation and site clearance, administrative procedures, support for exemption of land rent, industrial park infrastructure, and settlement of sources of filling materials for the project. Based on the recommendations of businesses and investors, representatives of relevant local departments and agencies gave specific answers, clarified the contents and common difficulties and problems. At the same time, they provided guidance on policies and laws as well as proposed solutions to remove difficulties for businesses.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the enthusiastic and profound opinions, acknowledged and respected the contributions and support of the business community and investors, and shared the difficulties and obstacles in the process of resolving administrative procedures. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested investors and businesses to focus resources to effectively implement projects; at the same time, requested the heads of departments, branches and localities to take responsibility if there is a congestion or delay in resolving administrative procedures.

Departments, branches, sectors and localities need to urgently review and resolve difficulties and recommendations of enterprises, provide timely guidance and information to enterprises, especially for specific recommendations of enterprises, including land allocation for the Tan Hoi Residential Area Housing Project, settlement of contracts and agreements on connecting the wastewater drainage system for the social housing project and issues related to land lease and infrastructure in industrial parks and industrial clusters. With the spirit of openness and implementing the motto of always accompanying and supporting enterprises, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that enterprises with recommendations continue to send documents, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to direct specialized agencies to research, proactively resolve according to their authority or advise on proposals, report to competent authorities for consideration and resolution, ensuring legal regulations, in order to create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to develop sustainably, promote production and business, and accelerate the progress of project implementation.
